Re-membering Our Creative Selves
In this 90-min creative reorientation ritual, we’ll take the first wobbly steps back into authentic creative life after a period of shedding, disconnection, or creative exhaustion (anyone else feel like 2025 asked a lot of them?). We’ll reclaim our hands, our eyes, and our attention for what truly matters. We’ll retrieve what has been scattered, buried, or set aside in the long winters of productivity, and gently re-member ourselves into creative connection.
Here’s what this gathering will offer:
A gentle somatic practice to land in our restorative container, soften the creative mind, and reconnect with all parts of you.
A journaling practice to witness our misunderstood creative parts, including the ones that feel frustrating or useless (hello, inner critic and rest!)
A therapeutic arts activity to restore trust and begin building a kinder, more supportive relationship with your creative selves.
A “creative rehab” space to make art without purpose, audience, or outcome. We’ll let the hands guide us out of productivity and back into felt relationship with making.
A cozy connection circle to share, and name how we’d like to tend our creative lives in ways that feel sustainable, nourishing, and true in the year ahead (PS: You’ll never be forced to share, unmute, or be on camera. Come exactly as you are)
A creativity coaching exercise will be sent after the gathering to bring devotion to your attention in 2026: what you want to nourish, what you want to protect, and how you want to show up for your creative life.
My hope is for us to cultivate a kinder, more intimate relationship with both our practice and ourselves as we step into 2026.
Date: Wednesday, February 4th at 8 AM PST | 11AM EST | 4PM GMT
*A recording will be provided if you cannot attend live.
(Note: If you’re a member of the Interweb community by Amelia Hruby, a similar version of this gathering will be offered for free on February 17th).
By purchasing this gathering, you agree to the Terms & Conditions.
Prices are in USD.
